Career

Laurie Dahl Rea, Of Counsel for the Firm, has 21 years’ experience in bankruptcy law. Ms. Rea worked in private practice from 1998 to 2010. Prior to then she served as law clerk to the late Honorable Harold C. Abramson from 1996 to 1998. Just prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Rea served as a career law clerk to the Honorable Russell F. Nelms from 2010 to 2017.

Bar admission

State Bar of Texas and admitted to practice in the Northern, Western, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

  • Member of the Executive Committee for the John C Ford Inn of Court 2014-2022.
  • Served as Chair of the Tarrant County Bankruptcy Bar from 2011 to 2012.
