DALLAS – The complex bankruptcy law firm Forshey Prostok is expanding its Dallas office with the addition of longtime trial attorney Steve Aldous, who brings more than 25 years of civil litigation experience.

Mr. Aldous’ practice involves business disputes of kinds, with an emphasis on intellectual property, investment disputes and serious personal injury cases. His trial record includes cases involving claims for breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, professional negligence, securities fraud, patent and trademark infringement, employment liability, product liability, insurance disputes, adversarial bankruptcy proceedings, class-action defense, and real estate fraud.

Mr. Aldous has argued cases before the Texas and Alaska Supreme Courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 5th and 10th Circuits, and appellate courts throughout Texas.

“Steve is a first-rate trial lawyer, and that’s great news for the companies we represent on the bankruptcy and work-out side,” says Jeff Prostok, a founding partner at Forshey Prostok. “Now, when our clients need trial help, Steve can step in and provide the kind of experience and value they’ve come to expect.”

Mr. Aldous is a member of the Dallas chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, ABOTA, a prestigious organization dedicated to preserving jury trials, with membership limited to attorneys with significant experience in that realm. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest legal rating available. Mr. Aldous repeatedly has been named to the annual Texas Super Lawyers list published by Thomson Reuters’ legal division.

“I’m very excited by the opportunity to work with Jeff and Bobby Forshey, and the other fine lawyers at Forshey Prostok,” Mr. Aldous says. “My trial work will enhance the range of services available to the firm’s clients, and I’m looking forward to the adventure.”
