Super Lawyers Selects Forshey Prostok Attorneys for Repeat Recognitions

Texas Super Lawyers has selected four Forshey Prostok attorneys to its list of top lawyers for 2022. As with the firm’s previous Super Lawyers honorees, this year’s roster of attorneys is celebrating multiple years on the list.

Founding partners J. Robert Forshey and Jeff Prostok were both selected for their work in bankruptcy: business. Individually, Mr. Forshey – who celebrates two decades on the Super Lawyers list – was also recognized for creditor debtor rights: business.

Mr. Prostok celebrates 19 years on the list. He was also recognized for his work in business litigation

Additionally, Forshey Prostok partners Deirdre Carey Brown, pllc, and Steven E. Aldous were named to the 2022 list. Ms. Brown, founder of the firm’s Houston office, was included for the seventh consecutive year for her work in bankruptcy: business, business litigation, and business/corporate. Mr. Aldous, a partner in the Dallas office and 16-year Super Lawyers honoree, was selected for his achievements in business litigation and personal injury – general: plaintiff.

“We’re honored that our clients trust us during financial uncertainty,” said Mr. Prostok. “At first, many of our clients view bankruptcy with trepidation, but from the Debtor’s perspective, it can be a strategic business decision and not a death sentence, while from the creditor’s side, aggressively protecting your rights can boost your recovery.”

Selection to Super Lawyers is based on a research and peer review model, and only 5% of attorneys in Texas receive the distinction. Super Lawyers does not request payment or other compensation from attorneys in exchange for a listing.

Super Lawyers is just the latest honors for Forshey Prostok attorneys. The Best Lawyers in America© honored this same group of attorneys, along with Suzanne K. Rosen for their bankruptcy work.
