Forshey Prostok founding partners J. Robert Forshey and Jeff Prostok have once again been named to the annual list of the top attorneys in Fort Worth by Fort Worth Magazine. Both attorneys were recognized for their bankruptcy expertise.

Forshey Prostok has been an active member of the business community, especially in recent months as prominent Texas companies have been impacted by the pandemic. According to an Aug. 31 report by The Texas Lawbook, Forshey Prostok has filed more business bankruptcies in the Northern District of Texas than any other firm, which includes firms many times their size.
To select its honorees, Fort Worth Magazine begins with a call for nominations from local attorneys. A minimum number of votes is required to make the list, with additional weight added to attorneys who have appeared on the list any of the three previous years. Following the points tally, a panel of highly regarded area lawyers provide input on which attorneys should be added or removed on the final list.
In other honors, Best Law Firms, published by The Best Lawyers© and U.S. News & World Report, also recognized Forshey Prostok on its 2021 list with a Metropolitan (Dallas-Fort Worth) Tier 1 ranking for bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law, as well as a Metropolitan (Dallas-Fort Worth) Tier 3 ranking for litigation-bankruptcy and personal injury litigation-plaintiffs.
Individually, Mr. Forshey, Mr. Prostok, and partners Steven E. Aldous and Deirdre Carey Brown, pllc, were named to the 2021 edition of The Best Lawyers in America© and the 2020 Texas Super Lawyers list.
